Butter cake 2


Ingredients
250 gm
200 gm sugar
4 eggs
250 self-raising flour
2 tsp vanilla essence
about 6 tbsp milk

Method
1. Heat oven to 180 deg C. Line cake tin.

2. In a mixer, beat butter and sugar on high speed till pale and fluffy, Reduce speed to medium, and add vanilla essence.

3. Add in eggs one at a time, alternating with flour.

4. Add milk to batter(bit by bit)

5. Check the consistency of the batter. It should be of dropping consistency. If it stands peaking and hard, add more milk.

6. Pour into baking tin and bake for about 50 minutes.
